Pastoral Apostolate
Pastoral Apostolate is tasked to oversee the Pastoral Care Program of the BLD Community in response to God’s covenant love, by nurturing and caring for each other, thus bringing to maturity in Christ, all those whom the Holy Spirit has entrusted in the Community.
The Pastoral Apostolate consists of the following Ministries:
Mark 10

Mark 10 Ministry is a ministry within the BLD Community that serves the spiritual needs of the younger members from ages 5 to 13.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry endeavours to plant the seed of faith in the heart of the youth members by introducing Jesus in their daily lives at this very important phase of their lives through our Youth Encounter (YE) retreat, the Youth Life in the Spirit Seminar (YLSS) and other activities.

The BLD Toronto SINGLES Ministry is responsible for bringing together single members into the BLD community and leading them to a relationship with GOD filled with hope, faith and love through the different programs within the ministry such as pastoral care, evangelization program, formation, mission and management.

Solo Parents Ministry

The Solo Parents Ministry commits to restoring families in Christ by serving as a support group to solo parents, within and outside the Community, here and abroad, through our ministry of loving presence, understanding, guidance and a process of reconciliation, spiritual renewal and growth.

Pastoral Services Ministry (PSM)
“…tend the flock of God that is in your charge, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion but willingly, as God would have you do it – not for sordid gain but eagerly.” (1Pet 5:2)
Pastoral Services Ministry provides assistance to the DCS to ensure the community’s Pastoral Care Program is implemented. It delivers various programs – recollection, seminars and supplementary activities for Circle Shepherds, Word Sharing and dissemination of resource materials.
